Digitization & Conversion
All elements are hand-cleaned, inspected, repaired and prepared for state-of-the-art digitization according to best practices in preservation. Digitization has revolutionized the way we disseminate information. Our professional flat-bed scanners use specially engineered lights and lenses to capture paper, photographs, letters, artifacts, documents and slides at true high-resolution.
Our professionally trained archivists and technicians carefully handle all materials including vintage fine art photographs, fragile photo albums, snapshots, brittle film and damaged audio materials.
Artifacts are digitally captured using 3-D camera technology. Film is scanned using a 2K Spirit Datacine either RAW or with best-light color-correction and dirt and scratch removal, video and audio is captured using well-maintained broadcast-quality equipment.
We use proprietary Academy Award-winning software to convert Standard Definition (SD) footage to Broadcast-quality high definition (HD.)
