Placing a value on your collection provides security and assurance that in the event of damage you will be compensated. It enables insurability, tax deductions for donation, fair market value for selling the collection and the ability to assign fees for licensing and repurposing. We offer professional and certified appraisals of film, photographic and video collections, adhering uniform standards and professional appraisal practices set forth by the Appraisal Foundation of America.

Preserving The Past, LLC works with museums and educational institutions to assist in sales or donations processes to preserve collections, enabling study by researchers, scholars and historians and preventing our tangible cultural heritage from ending up in the proverbial dumpster.
